FR ROBERTO PASOLINI

As the Preacher to the Papal household, Fr Roberto has a Doctorate in Biblical Theology and has served as a Professor of Biblical Languages and Sacred Scripture in Milan and Venice.

His preaching addresses issues related to human existence and faith, while making them relevant to contemporary issues. Besides the many spiritual retreats he preaches, Fr. Pasolini is heavily involved in working with those living in poverty, people living on the streets, people with disabilities, and ministering in prisons. He is also an author of several books and embraces new technology to spread the Gospel, including podcasts and artificial intelligence which comes from an earlier career as a computer programmer.

JOHANNES HARTL

Dr. Johannes Hartl is a Catholic theologian and speaker who lives in Augsburg, Germany, with his wife Jutta and their four children. He connects people across denominations and makes topics of faith relevant and understandable in today‘s world. The author of numerous books fills conference rooms with over 10,000 listeners internationally.

He was born in 1979 and studied German and philosophy before he founded the House of Prayer in Augsburg with his wife. Since 2011, prayers are being held here day and night.

DAVID WELLS

David Wells is married to Alison. They have three grown up children and two grandchildren.

He has presented at over 2000 conferences worldwide since he first began public speaking in 1992. He began his career as a secondary school teacher and went on to work for the Bishop’s Conference and as an Advisor to Catholic Dioceses.

He has authored three books, co-authored two, and is made appearances in filmed resources all over the world. In his own words “You just can’t shut him up!"

JORDAN KELLY

Originally from Essex, Jordan is now based in Sheffield with his wife, Ali, and their two children. He is passionate about seeing people return home to the Father and carries a deep call to help the Church become who she truly is, equipping others to step more fully into the mission of sharing the Good News of Jesus. He longs to see the world look more like Heaven, so that when Jesus comes again, it will feel like home for Him — a ready bride awaiting His arrival. Jordan serves as the Regional Lead for Divine Renovation UK and is the Director of the Encounter School of Ministry - Sheffield Campus. He is also a member of the One Hope Project.

CHRISTY WIMBER

Christy Wimber is joining us from her home in the USA. She is a Christian speaker and author who has been involved with Church planting for many years. As a former Head Pastor, she has invested in mentoring and church consulting around the world. She is currently the Director of Global Church Planting for Friends (FSW).

Her teaching is both inspiring and down to earth. She has a huge heart for church unity and equipping for leadership. She is a born encourager and we know she will bring to the CELEBRATE festival a desire to share the heart of God and how He can transform our lives making us glowing witnesses to His light.

We are delighted that Bishop Philip will be joining us for the first time. He will celebrate Mass and spend some time with our young adults.

What a pleasure it is to welcome Fr Emmanuel Mansford from the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal as the CELEBRATE Festival Youth Chaplain this year. The young people will gain so much from having him hang out with them! He will also be celebrating our closing Mass where we mark the 800th anniversary of St Francis.

FATHER ROD JONES

Fr Rod Jones has been a monk of Worth Abbey since 1980 and is now Parish Priest of the Abbey Church.

He is an old friend of CELEBRATE and we are blessed that he will be celebrating Mass for us during the week.
