Fun and Fellowship

More Than a Festival. A Community.

Fellowship at CELEBRATE

CELEBRATE is joyful. Alongside the teaching and prayer, there's laughter, community, games, and the kind of fellowship that only happens when hundreds of Catholics gather in one place to celebrate their faith together.

It's about hundreds of Catholics gathering in a historic setting in Sussex to pray together, laugh together, eat together, play together, and realise they're not alone in their faith. This is where fellowship flourishes.

Family Fun Activities

Puppet Show

We are excited to welcome this well-known and loved puppet show this year. A joyful, faith-filled puppet performance bringing Bible Stories to life with humour and heart. Younger children are mesmerised and parents genuinely enjoy it too. It's entertaining, engaging, and spiritually meaningful.

Sports & Games

Competitive and non-competitive activities for all ages and abilities. Whether you're sporty or not, there's something for everyone:

  • Football, rounders, relay races — Classic games everyone loves

  • Team challenges — Build community while playing

  • Low-key games — If you're not the athletic type, there’s no pressure.

Activities happen multiple times throughout the festival in the fields. Come once or come every day. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and fun.

St Francis Treasure Hunt (with CAFOD)

Outdoor adventure across the festival grounds celebrating St Francis and creation care. Families work together, solve clues, explore the grounds, and learn about stewardship. Perfect for getting children outside, active, and engaged.

Bible Bedtime stories

A special time for little people and their parents to curl up and explore the Good News through song, signing, prayer and animation. Teddies welcome.

Camping

Many families choose to camp on the festival grounds, and the campsite quickly becomes its own little village. It's families arriving together, children running between tents, neighbours becoming friends, and people happily sharing a pump to inflate an airbed. The whole experience becomes a community in itself.

Why families love it: There's something special about sharing a few days alongside other Catholic families. Friendships form naturally, conversations go deeper, and a real sense of community develops.

Eating Together as Community: You're not eating alone — you're gathered with hundreds of other people, and conversations naturally begin.

The vibe: The atmosphere is relaxed, joyful

Evenings at CELEBRATE

And then there’s the Bar!

Once the main sessions have finished, the festival continues with plenty to enjoy. Come and relax at the Pitstop Bar. There will be a challenging team quiz night (a great way to make new friends), and by popular demand the Talent Show returns once again — so get your recorder at the ready!
